History comes alive in downtown Buchanan during Civil War History Weekend. A full weekend of activities include Friday school Field Trips through Living History Camps on the Town Park, a Friday night Battle of the Bluegrass Bands in the Buchanan Theatre, on Saturday activities include a street battle on Main Street, Crafters on Main Street, Movies, Educational Programs while Living History Camps will be set up on the Town Park. Sunday includes a period camp church service on the Town Park and the Battle of Buchanan.
